In this insightful and interactive workshop, learn how to align your desires with the greater good, and become more effective at creating change. And you might have some fun, too.

Where: Unitarian Congregation of Guelph, 122 Harris Street
Free or by donation
Pot luck lunch

Improv Temple

Are you looking for an improv jam that’s also a religious experience? Then this is for you.

Led by Master Fool and Hebrew Priestess Lauren Stein, we will sing songs ranging from chants to Broadway to 90s alt rock, hear Lauren’s comedy sermon, and improvise scenes on the theme. Then there’s a jam. And we go out for drinks afterwards.

Note: Participation is optional! If you just want to watch, this is the space for you! And if you are looking for stage time, you will find it here! Nothing is forced upon you at Improv Temple.

When: Monday, December 16, at 6-8 pm
Where: Guelph Little Theatre, 176 Morris Street
PWYC

The God You Don’t Believe In, I Don’t Believe In, Either

What do you think “God” means? A bearded man in the sky? In Judaism, there are 72 names for God, and not all are masculine. In the Kohenet – Hebrew Priestess tradition there are 13 archetypes, including Fool. Kohenet Lauren Stein invites you to expand beyond narrow ideas and connect with whatever notion of Deity would strengthen you on your path.
